How do I get around your site? You can get to any of the main and sub sections of our site e.g. About Us, Services, How to Help and the Contact page, by using the navigational drop-down menus at the top of every page or by visiting our site maps page. They can also be reached from text links at the bottom of each page as well as the “Quick Links” drop down box available on every page on the site.
I find using a mouse difficult - is there something else I can use? You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard. The up and down arrow keys will help with scrolling the page upwards and downwards. You can also jump to the top and bottom of the page using the page up and page down keys. To move through the site, try using your tab key as you move along each link is highlighted, followed it by hitting the return key.
The text is too small for me to read - how can I change it? You can change the size of the entire website by clicking one any of the ”text enlargement button buttons at the left side of every page. The captions “Larger Text” vary in sizes and are descriptive. You can also customise your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape Navigator or similar browsers) to make the text larger. If you are using Internet Explorer, choose View then Text size and select Medium, Larger or Largest. Similarly in Netscape choose View then Increase text size.
How can I find what I need on your site? You can find anything you want on how site by using the Search function. Each page has a search box. Simply type a key word or phrase, e.g. dementia, into the search box and click the "Go" button. A list of links to pages containing your search word will come up. You can also use the “Advance Search” function available on the search page, you can search the site, the internet etc. You can also use the Site Map page to find a list of all the pages in the site arranged accordingly.
How do I get back to your site if I exit it? My Internet browser old or out of date - how do I get a new one? Our website is designed to be used with version 5 and above of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape/Mozilla browsers.
