Dementia Care Partnership provides services and solutions for people with dementia and other mental health problems across the united kingdom. Our current services includes:
Home support service Whether it is to help you with personal care, shopping, and housework or just someone to befriend, our home support service aims to support you to continue to live independently at home.
Day activity services DCP day services offers you the opportunity to join various clubs such as singing, dancing, gardening, computing, photography, watercolours to name just a few.
Independent supported living houses When staying in your own home becomes no longer feasible, supported tenancies which are offered in partnership with housing departments associations, can offer you that ‘home from home’.
Overnight short term break For younger people with dementia and older people from the black and minority ethnic community, in particular. Overnight short breaks at Bradbury Centre offer carers a much needed rest and peace of mind as their relatives are offered individualised, sensitive and professional care.
Other services offered are:
- Flexible home care service available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- 24 hour companion/befriender scheme
- Specialist services for younger people with dementia
- Carer support group
- Training and consultancy service
- The Bradbury Centre – an innovative purpose-built new Centre incorporating facilities and services, influenced by clients and carers which are: café/restaurant, hairdressing, health and fitness room, black and minority ethnic culture and multi faith room, information technology room, short term breaks, training and conference facility.
Proposed new services include:
- ‘Dial a solution’- information and advice helpline
- Evening clubs for younger people with dementia
- A social club for carers and the cared-for.
