Clients Comments

It was tip top – everything was super. Weather could have been better but had a good time – really good, smashing and good company.  (Clients from day activity centre)

Ladies playing Golf
Had a really good day at Parklands for the ladies golf. We all really enjoyed it and would love to go again.  (Gwen Carline and Lily McBrine clients from day activity centre)

Barbra Toms
I just wanted you to know how much we carers appreciate all you do to support us.
We have all got such a lot from the carers forums(Barbara Toms, Carer)

I must mention Fridays – this is the day that our support work Carole Lawsoner, Nick Gulliver, calls and spends the afternoon with David and what a
difference this makes. A simple thing like a walk and chat, being told how observant he is has boosted his confidence. Nick’s calm and steady attention to David has led him to trust and enjoy his Friday afternoon.  This is no simple thing as David was always wary of strangers and Nick has been able to build up such a strong bond between them. (Carole Lawson, Carer)

The staff are so lovely. The welcome that they give us is always so sincere and my dad now feels that he is part of the family at his new home.  My mum is now very settled and this is all due to the staff’s love and devotion to their work. (Val Price, daughter of client in supported living house).

I have just had the best Christmas since I got ill.  The people who work here are not just carers but friends. They all put a lot of effort into Christmas and I enjoyed it very
Dorothy Nelsonmuch.  We are watching the bulbs in the balcony boxes come through at the moment.  We can knit or crochet, play games or just sit and have a good natter. Most importantly they taught me how to laugh again. (Dorothy Nelson, client at day activity centre)
